Help for iPhone and iPod Touch apps

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: When I play the game on my iPhone or iPod touch, it crashes. What can I do?
  • A: The most common reason for crashes is that the app runs out of memory. To avoid this problem you can restart the device before starting apps that require a lot of memory. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off the device. To turn the device back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.

  • Q: When I play the game on my iPhone or iPod touch, it says that I'm running out of memory. However, I have a 16GB iPhone and it isn't even nearly full. How can this happen?
  • A: There are two types of memory in the device: storage space and fast memory. The device is not usually running out of storage space, which can be 8GB, 16GB, or even 32GB. What happens is that the device is running out of fast memory which it only has 128MB or 256MB. Most devices have only 128MB. Restarting the device usually helps as it frees memory (see the question above).
